Our Story

ExpatBD.org was born from a simple observation: despite being one of the world's largest diasporas, Bangladeshi expats lacked a unified platform to connect, share resources, and support each other's journeys.

Founded in 2024 by a team of Bangladeshi professionals spread across four continents, we understood firsthand the challenges of living abroad—from navigating complex visa processes to finding familiar communities in foreign lands.

What started as informal WhatsApp groups and LinkedIn connections has evolved into a comprehensive platform serving thousands of Bangladeshi expats worldwide.
